Milky Oats (Avena Sativa) are harvested at a particular time each year in order to receive the most medicinal benefit. Milky Oats are considered na tonic for the nervous system, helping to regulate nervous system function, decreasing stress, anxiety and depression in some. It is high in vitamins A, C, and E making this one of my personal favorite medicinal plants.
